HOW DOES SPINAL REJUVENATION THERAPY WORK?

Thousands of our patients have found relief from pain associated with herniated discs, pinched nerves, degenerative joint disease, and other spinal issues following this highly successful therapy. Our Spinal Rejuvenation Therapy program uses state-of-the-art technology, therapeutic exercises for postural strengthening, gentle stretching, Spinal Decompression, chiropractic techniques, vibration or electrical stimulation, and ice therapy.

REHABILITATION EXERCISES

The first part of each visit in our Spinal Rejuvenation Program uses strengthening and stabilizing exercises to help enhance your weak muscles and problem areas. Attention is placed on your body’s core muscles, which is the key to long-term pain relief. Once your body is stretched out, we move to the spinal decompression table to continue the treatment.

ABOUT THE SPINAL DECOMPRESSION TABLE

The spinal decompression table uses whole-body vibration to relax muscle spasms in your spine and body. It generates a negative pressure inside your vertebral discs to alleviate pain and dysfunction in your back. The spinal decompression table does this by lightly stretching your spine with enough strength to produce a vacuum inside your vertebral discs. This not only takes the pressure off your pinched nerves but helps relocate any bulging discs and move your herniated nucleus back into position. This spinal decompression table allows us to achieve unprecedented, lasting, pain-free results combined with the rehabilitation of your spinal discs.

ELECTRICAL STIMULATION WITH COLD ICE THERAPY

After the spinal decompression table is used, we switch gears and use electrical stimulation to help reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling after the decompression. This stimulation is also utilized to advance your motor control, muscle atrophy, and blood flow in your spine. Electrical stimulation reinforces tissue repair, microcirculation, and protein synthesis to heal wounds and rehabilitate the integrity of your connective and dermal tissues, tendons, and muscle ligaments. During the stimulation, we also incorporate cold therapy with ice packs to help control the inflammation and swelling around your joints.
